A social-impact VR project created with people with disabilities, using immersive documentary to challenge assumptions about ability and independence.
VRability used first-person 360-degree documentary to make the everyday experience and ambitions of people with disabilities visible without reducing them to institutional testimony.
Social impact through presence
The project was created to motivate people with disabilities to be more active in real life and to challenge assumptions held by wider audiences. The camera stays close to individual experience rather than explaining it from outside.
Maxim Kiselev
The principal 360 film follows Maxim Kiselev, a professional figure skater who performs using a wheelchair. His movement and working environment made spatial filming integral to the story.
From social campaign to international XR work
VRability circulated through advertising recognition, emerging VR festivals, Marché du Film, Moscow International Film Festival and Berlinale EFM, connecting social communication with immersive documentary.
