A touring VR cinema and exhibition programme presented across seven cities in Serbia.
VR Science Caravan was a travelling exhibition and screening programme that brought immersive science, documentary and interactive work to audiences across seven Serbian cities.
A festival designed to travel
The programme was built around portable screening infrastructure, repeatable audience flow and local partnerships. Each stop had to work outside the technical conditions of a permanent XR venue.
Curating for first-time audiences
Selection and mediation were shaped for visitors who often had no previous experience of headsets or spatial storytelling. Context, onboarding and facilitation were treated as part of the curatorial work.
Regional access
By travelling beyond a single capital-city event, the caravan connected immersive culture with schools, cultural centres and local communities across Serbia.
