Jean-Michel Jarre and Brian May opened STARMUS with a large-scale concert staged around Bratislava’s SNP Bridge.
Bridge from the Future opened the 2024 STARMUS festival with Jean-Michel Jarre, Brian May and a large visual production staged around Bratislava’s SNP Bridge. Projection, live cameras, lasers, drones and architectural scale were composed as one public spectacle.
Working at city scale
The bridge, stage towers and surrounding architecture became a canvas visible to a live audience across the Danube. Visual material had to remain legible across large distances while staying synchronised with music and live-camera direction.
Mapping and content
Georgy Molodtsov contributed to the videomapping direction and edited part of the visual content within the wider video team.
From live event to audiovisual record
The concert later became the official Live in Bratislava release, preserving a production originally experienced as architecture, broadcast and mass public event.
